Vikar exists to change that.
In an industry driven by excess, pressure, and overpromising, beauty has become loud, complicated, and often intimidating. Somewhere along the way, wearing makeup stopped feeling simple.
We were created to eliminate the constant trade-off between performance and skin safety, confidence and comfort, and quality and trust. No one should have to second-guess what they apply to their face every single day. At its core, Vikar stands for mindful transformation.
The name Vikar is pronounced as “Vikr” - with a silent “a” - and means “change”. But not the kind rooted in fixing flaws or chasing unrealistic standards. For us, transformation is internal: the shift from anxiety to ease, from doubt to confidence, and from the pressure to choose.
Every Vikar product is developed with real skin in mind - sensitive, acne-prone, everyday skin - without sacrificing performance, wearability, or joy. Beauty should enhance, not overwhelm; support, not stress.

Meet the Founder
Experience became purpose.
Before founding Vikar, I spent years as a makeup artist, where cosmetics were more than just products - they were my everyday life. Working closely with diverse skin types gave me a front-row seat to how formulas truly perform on real skin. In 2020, I transitioned into a more structured professional environment, gaining deep, hands-on exposure to formulations and finishes across global brands.
My journey took a pivotal turn when I moved to Canada to study Social Media Marketing. During this time, I was diagnosed with PCOS, which triggered hormonal acne and extreme skin sensitivity. At the same time, I was working as a Product Advisor at Sephora Canada, where wearing a full face of makeup was a daily requirement. Makeup shifted from a tool of self-expression to a source of physical discomfort.
Looking back at the Indian beauty market, I noticed a glaring gap: products were either high-quality but inaccessible, or affordable but compromised on safety and performance. I refused to accept that makeup should be a choice between your skin’s health and your confidence.
I founded Vikar to create makeup that is safe for sensitive, acne-prone skin without sacrificing professional performance. Every product is shaped by experience, intention, and a deep respect for real skin.
